St.Patrick's High School, Secunderabad was established in 1911. From 1973, it is managed by the Jesuit Fathers of Andhra Province, belonging to the Society of Jesus Founded by St.Ignatius of Loyola. This School is a minority (Catholic) educational institution governed by the article 30(1) of the Indian Constitution as elucidated by the courts of the country.
The school aims at the integrated development of the totalpersonality of the students.Through Primarily a School for Catholics, all students are admitted irrespective of cast and creed. In all matters of administration, the governing body's decision will be binding.
The curriculum is arranged so as to prepare Students for the Secondary School Certificate Examination. The medium of instruction is English.

Admissions to KG: Normal admission is done only in L.K.G. classes, as no section are added in other classes. Those seeking admissions to L.K.G. should be with the age group of 3 and 4 years on June 1 of the year of admission. The age requirement of the classes will be the basis of the above as a rule.
Admissions to other classes: Admissions to classes other than L.K.G will depend on vacancies, and information regarding them can be had from the school office/notice board a few day before the beginning of the new academic year.
Admission procedure: The application for Admission/Registration forms shall be accompanied by an authentic document containing the child's date of 0birth. We accept date of birth certificates only from Corporation or Panchayat or Mandan Revenue Officer. Affidavit or Hospital Certificate will not be accepted. A student coming from an affiliated and recognized school should produce a T.C. with clear mention of date of birth. Date of birth once registered will not be altered. Admissions are done on the basis of an interview and entrance examination. The merit of the student is the sole criterion for selection. The school does not charge captivation fees, offers of donations, bringing innuendoes to bear on the management with a view to gain admission, etc. will entail disqualification of the candidate. The Principal reserves to himself the right to refuse admissions to any student without furnishing any reasons. WithDrawals For withdrawal of student from the school a Calendar month's notice must be given in writing otherwise a Calendar month's fees will be charged. The Principal will request the withdrawal of a student who fails for two consecutive years in the same class.
Prior permission is to be obtained from the pricipal for taking leave. If for valid reasons prior permissions could not be got, when the student reports to school, one of the parents should accompany the child and explain the reason to the Principal.
All Pupils must attend school on the reopening day after each of the vacations. Absence without previous permission (mere informing will nt suffice) renders the pupil liable to being struck off the roll.
Parents can meet the teacher the on 2nd Saturday of every month from 9.00 a.m to 12.00 noon.
The Parents should make it a point to take this opportunity to discuss the progress of their children.
However, should any parent feel that he/she needs to meet the Principal or any teacher with regard to the work or conduct of his/her child of for any problem faced by the child, he/she is encouraged to do so at the earliest, after making an appointment with the Principal or the teacher concerned.
The school administration will take a serious view of the parents regularly absenting themselves from such meeting of showing indifference towards their children's education.
School uniform is of "Scout pattern":
L.K.G to VII : Half Shirt and Half Pant
VIII to X : Half Shirt and Full Trousers
All Students Should wear shoulder flaps, School color Ties and black Shoe And Black socks.
However, on the First Working day of the week Students will wear White uniform, White Shoes and White Socks.
